Peter brings a fresh perspective to the practice of Local Government, Planning and Environmental Law.
Peter graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Environmental Law in 2016, and is on the NSW Young Lawyers Environmental and Planning Law Committee. He has years of experience in scrutinizing and challenging major resource projects and other inappropriate development, as well as assisting clients gaining development consent for significant residential projects.
Initially involved in public interest environmental law with a particular focus on ecologically sustainable development, judicial review and community awareness and engagement, Peter has since transitioned into the private sector with a particular interest in challenges to conditions of consent by developers and objectors alike. He has previously advised some of Australia’s largest property developers and resource companies on contaminated land issues, development restrictions, yields and uplifts, as well as regulatory risks for a range of residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Peter has previously gained years of experience working in high end customer service roles, and takes a kind and considerate yet motivated and result-driven approach to handling each client’s concerns and achieving the best result.
Peter is married with two awesome kids. Other than throwing himself into his work, Peter enjoys bushwalking, taking his kids to the beach, and getting out onto Narrabeen Lagoon on his SUP whenever the weather lets him!
